FILM NIGHT
Featuring a short film called, "Laz Village Youth Musicians and Teachers" by Kutay Derin Kugay about our Laz music initiative (filmed in the NE regions of Turkey); plus a short film about the music and culture of Kyrgyzstan with lecture demonstration featuring master musician Akylbek Serkebaev from Kyrgyzstan.

SONGS OF KYRGYZSTAN
Akylbek Serkebaev from Kyrgyzstan makes his festival debut and will present this intimate, solo concert.

This event will feature several of the festival artists as part of our youth outreach efforts, including Akylbek Serkebaev from Kyrgyzstan, Hasmik Harutyunyan from Armenia, and members of the Bay Area all-female Balkan choir, Kitka.
