THE EPIC PROJECT SCHOOL SHOW

A specially designed experience for Youths, Teachers and Schools of the Bay Area featuring world renowned Master Musicians plus members of the Festival’s Youth Orchestra. The Epic Project School Show weaves together prominent symbols, metaphors, and traditional ideals from many of the worlds oldest Epics - from cultures as diverse as Azerbaijan, Burma, China, India, Kyrgyzstan, Spain, Taiwan, Tibet and Uzbekistan. An outgrowth of 15 years of educational programming geared towards the youths of the world, The Epic Project School Show is our Festival’s commitment to building bridges for youths of the Bay Area to experience together the cultures of the world. Each show includes documentary film footage from countries abroad, epic stories incorporating cultural history and folk legends, as well as traditional music of cultures around the world.

Festival 2011 T-Shirts?

The San Francisco World Music Festival has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to help us raise the final funds needed to complete The Epic Project. We have just three weeks to raise $10,000 (hopefully much more!). If we don't raise the full amount, we don't receive any of the pledges. Please spread this link far and wide to help us reach our goal. Any amount helps!
