ORCHESTRATING SOCIAL CHANGE
Using Music to Galvanize Systemic Changes
Door Dog uses world music to accomplish humanitarian work around the globe, partnering with leaders in human rights, animal rights and environmental rights to create a solutions-based public forum for addressing eco-systemic issues facing endangered cultures, animals and natural environments around the world. Our work brings together scholars, anthropologists, venture philanthropists, political scientists, economists, world historians, environmental activists, etc. to find innovative avenues for creating positive systemic change for traditional music masters and the revitalization of their cultures around the world.
Specifically, we promote endangered music cultures, build a pool of renewable cultural resources for the traditional masters, and create positive social changes in the very process of creating newly staged productions. By investing in the supply chain for traditional music around the world, we increase the global pool and access to traditional music masters and their expertise. Our live music productions are designed to shift social consciousness and attitudes across a select range of issues impacting environmental rights, human rights and animal rights.
